Major Server Software and Application Framework Upgrade
We're very pleased to announce we've completed a major upgrade to the underlying application framework and server software. This upgrade is exciting because it will put us in a great position with fully supported software for the next several years. Also, we'll be able to take advantage of some great new security features down the road. It is part of our commitment to supporting and improving SCP well into the future.
Administrator Order Entry and Management
Those sites with a customer-facing ecommerce presence normally collect orders from customers themselves. However, SCP also provides full access in the administrator for employees both to create new orders, and manage ones placed by customers. These features make it easy to enter orders on a customer's behalf, and make changes after an order is placed, such as adding and removing items, changing shipping, capturing payments, and more.

Payment Page Changes
To adhere to PCI (Payment Card Industry) security requirements, merchants must be notified of and approve changes made to their site's payment page. As part of our onboarding process, if you are using SCP's ecommerce functionality to collect payments from customers using credit cards, we will set up a Payment Page Changes Job for your site.
Although there are many other security precautions taken to ensure that only legitimate scripts and headers are part of the payment page, this is a critical area for credit card security. The Payment Page Changes Job is an extra layer of security, running through the public interface of the site, to make sure nothing has been compromised.

Redirects Feature
The Redirects feature of SCP is a very simple but powerful way to control your site's navigation and traffic. Within the administrator interface, employees can manage the URLs the application serves; point old URLs to new ones; create shortcut URLs for particular pages; and more.
